CRF®, the course sponsor, will consider current fellows in training from anywhere in the world. To be considered, you must complete an application with supporting documentation. Note that only a small number of complimentary spots is available to fellows outside the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

TIER 1 — You are:
- A current fellow in interventional cardiology or an advanced interventional program, e.g., CHIP, structural, endovascular, research.
- Enrolled in an ACGME-accredited program OR a non–ACGME-accredited program.*
- Applying to attend for the first time (you have NOT previously attended the CRF Fellows™ Course).
*Note: Spots for fellows enrolled in programs outside of the U.S., Mexico, and Canada are limited to the first 30 eligible applicants.

TIER 2 — You are:
- A current fellow in final year (3rd or 4th year) of cardiovascular disease/general cardiology program.
- Enrolled in an ACGME-accredited OR a non–ACGME-accredited program in the U.S., Canada, or Mexico.
- Accepted into an interventional cardiology fellowship program, with confirmed documentation of acceptance.
- Applying to attend for the first time (you have NOT previously attended the CRF Fellows™ Course).

TIER 3 — You are:
- A current fellow in final year (3rd or 4th year) of cardiovascular disease/general cardiology program.
- Enrolled in an ACGME-accredited OR a non–ACGME-accredited program in the U.S., Canada, or Mexico.
- Applying to attend for the first time (you have NOT previously attended the CRF Fellows™ Course).

TIER 4 — You are:
- A fellow who meets the criteria for Tiers 1, 2, or 3 — AND you have previously attended the CRF Fellows™ Course.

If you do not fall into one of the above tiers, including first- and second-year cardiovascular disease/general cardiology fellows, you can register as an attendee.
Travel, Accommodations, and Reimbursement
- Do not book travel or hotel until you receive an acceptance.
- If you are accepted, CRF will provide detailed booking instructions for your travel.
- CRF will reimburse coach/standard economy airfare up to US$400. You will have to provide the required documentation. Book your air travel AFTER you receive an acceptance notice.
- If you are accepted, your spot in Fellows™ Course 2026 is not confirmed unless and until you make your travel reservation by the deadline stated in your acceptance letter.
- CRF will make a hotel reservation on your behalf.
- You must attend all assigned sessions and activities at Fellows™ Course 2026 to be eligible for reimbursement.
- You will receive additional details about expense reimbursement if you are accepted.
- Reimbursements, if applicable, will be processed within 10 weeks after completion of the course.
- You must arrive in Miami Beach by 4:00 PM EDT on Thursday, May 14, 2026
- You can depart any time after 2:00 PM EDT on Sunday, May 17, 2026.
- Early check-in is based on availability; early check-in fee (not reimbursable) may apply.
- Arrival and departure times are subject to change and will be confirmed after acceptance to the course.

Reservation: CRF will book and pay for three nights at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach (room and tax only) for the nights of the program only.
- Do not book your hotel independently. CRF will not cover or reimburse for reservations you make on your own.
- You must be at least 21 years of age and will be required to show a valid government-issued ID upon check-in.
- Hotel Resort Fee: Fontainebleau Miami Beach has a mandatory discounted daily hotel resort fee of US$35 per day, per room. This fee is not reimbursable by CRF. See the FAQ below for a list of services included in the resort fee.
- Credit Card: You will need to provide a major credit card upon arrival for an incidental hold and any items you charge to your room.
- Cancellation Charge: You can cancel — in writing — without penalty up to three days prior to your scheduled arrival date. If you cancel less than three days before scheduled arrival, you will be charged the one-night room fee and tax. CRF will not reimburse you for this fee.
- Early Check-In Fee: If you wish to check in prior to 4:00 PM and your room is available, you may be charged an early check-in fee. CRF will not reimburse you for this fee.
- Additional Occupant Fee: An additional charge of $30.00 per night will be assessed for each occupant in excess of two. CRF will not reimburse you for this fee.
- You must email [email protected] immediately with your cancellation request.
- You will not be reimbursed for any expenses — including transportation and hotel cancellation fees — if you cancel your attendance.
- If your cancellation is within 72 hours of your scheduled arrival time, you will be charged the one-night room fee and tax. CRF will not reimburse you for this fee.
Application Process FAQ
You will receive three emails:
- First email will confirm that we received your application and that it is under review.
- Second email will either a) confirm your application is complete, or b) notify you that your application is incomplete and ask you to provide the missing information.
- Third email will notify you if you have been accepted to the course (and will include further instructions) or if your application was declined.
No. Do not contact CRF to confirm your documentation has been received. We will contact you if we have not received your documents by the deadline. Be sure to follow the uploading instructions. Do not mail or fax your documents to CRF.

No. Do not book a flight or hotel room prior to receiving an acceptance email. You will not be reimbursed unless you use the CRF-specified vendor.
CRF will book and pay for three nights of lodging at Fontainebleau Miami Beach (room and tax only) for the nights of the program only. Do not book your hotel independently. You will receive detailed information in your acceptance email. You are responsible for all incidentals, including the mandatory daily resort fee.
Standard rooms at Fontainebleau Miami Beach are equipped with one king bed or two queen beds and are assigned based on hotel availability. Maximum occupancy per room is four. The current additional per-person rate is $30.00 per night, regardless of age. CRF will not reimburse you for this fee.
Fontainebleau Miami Beach has a mandatory daily hotel resort fee of US$35 per day, per room (inclusive of tax). This fee is charged to your credit card and is not reimbursable by CRF. The fee includes:
- Unlimited wireless internet access in guestrooms
- Gym access
- Local dialing and toll-free calls
- Access to Refresh Lounge
- Daily newspaper at front desk
- You must attend the entire Fellows™ Course 2026 program to be eligible for reimbursement. You will not be reimbursed if you do not attend all three days or if you miss sessions or scheduled activities.
- You will be reimbursed the cost of airfare up to US$400 after attending the full meeting and submitting an online evaluation and CRF® reimbursement form.
- If you chose to drive to Miami Beach you will be reimbursed for car mileage (at prevailing IRS rate).
- You will receive an email with additional information and parameters for travel.
- You will receive full instructions about reimbursement after the conclusion of Fellows™ Course 2026.
These expenses are not reimbursable:
- Ground transportation to/from the airport and hotel
- Local transportation
- Hotel resort fee
- Hotel incidentals
- Airline baggage fees
- Meals outside of course functions
- Guests' travel and expenses
- Hotel room upgrades
- Extra-person charges at the hotel
- Cancellation fees imposed by hotel or airline
- Miscellaneous expenses
Yes! You can register as an attendee. Refer to your decision notification email for instructions on how to register as an attendee. When registering you will see the question, “Are you currently enrolled in a qualifying fellowship program?” Select NO and follow the registration steps. Acceptance into the Fellows™ Course is non-transferable, as applications are reviewed on an individual basis. If you are unable to attend, your spot will be offered to the next person on the waitlist.
